My home is in the east village of Manhattan, on 14th st. After wandering through various towns in N.J., I settled down ( I use the term "settled" very loosely) with the father of my 2 children , Hale Aust. A wonderful man , with a great deal of love and patience for me. ( Lord knows , he needs it!) We have 1 boy , Alden , 17 and 1 girl, Haley, 12. I was a stay at home Mom for ten years. I truly enjoyed being there for all the"firsts". Once both the kids were in school full time, friends, neighbors and countrymen , pleaded with me to go back to work. Everyone feared for their sanity as well as mine. I chose to avoid what I had studied in College , Art history,and go straight to what brought me pleasure every day, swimming. Yes, I know , in Manhattan, what opportunity, galleries ,museums , the best in the country some might say. But no, I chose to work at the not for profit , Hebrew "Y" across the street.
